Sports Summer Camp
The Kinnaird College is offering 10 weeks sports summer camp only for female athletes of all ability levels. The camp includes team games like Hockey, Cricket, Basketball, football and Rugby. Individual games like Tennis, Table Tennis, Badminton will also be featured. Team-building activities and fitness training will be focused. The camp will be led by professional coaches who are determined to provide the best possible training to camp participants.
The camp will start from 5th June 2017
Registration opens from May 29th, 2017

Oratory Skills and Creative Writing Summer Camp
Summer break is just round the corner. Kinnaird College Debating Society (KCDS) brings to you an amazing opportunity to get your kids involved in productive activities. KCDS has arranged for “Oratory Skills and Creative Writing Summer Camp”.
It will be a 6 weeks long camp with emphasis on training young minds to think and put their thoughts in words in a manner that is both appealing and convincing. Along with the training in public speaking skills, kids will also be trained in creative writing.
KCDS has engaged experts for both the activities. Our coaches are active debaters who are aware of the changing trends of debating. They would have brainstorming sessions with the kids on varied topics. The camp will end with a competition amongst students. Certificates will be awarded to the participants.
Because of limited seats you are requested to get your child enrolled as soon as possible.
The camp begins on 3rd July and ends on 8th August 2017.
Oratory Skills Sessions: Mondays and Tuesdays: 9 a.m.-11a.m.
Creative Writing Sessions: Mondays and Tuesdays: 11: 15 a.m. -12: 30 p.m.
Age Group: 8 years till 12 years (Girls & Boys)
Charges for Oratory Skills and Creative Writing Camp: Rs 8000/-
Dues have to be deposited at the booth of Bank of Punjab (BOP) at Kinnaird College for Women Gate #1. Please make sure to collect the receipts from the bank.
Sessions will take place at PWI Kinnaird College for Women, LHR.
Registrations will begin on Monday 15th May and will close on Friday 9thJune, 2017.

Carefully check your ID card Number, Year of Study, Department, CGPA and status as merit list for award of laptop will be prepared on the basis of this information.

Distribution ceremony is expected to be held in April / May 2017.
Please note that this scheme is not for the students admitted in Fall 2016 and Spring 2017.

Notice – Newly Admitted Students in Spring 2017
All students of Undergraduate & Postgraduate Programs admitted in Spring 2017 must attend Assembly on January 16, 2017 i.e. Monday at 09:30 a.m. in Hladia Hall.
Students can get their login & password letters to access student online portal (for course registration and time table) from their respective departments after Assembly.
TWO DAYS WORKSHOP ON “BIOINFORMATICS AND COMPUTATIONAL DRUG DESIGNING”ON JANUARY 27-28, 2017
Department of Biochemistry, Kinnaird College for Women, Lahore is organizing two days national workshop on “Bioinformatics and Computational Drug Designing” on January 27-28, 2017. The workshop will train participants on how to use Bioinformatics resources in their research work.
The topics to be addressed during the workshop include:
- Introduction to biological data retrieving
- Sequence and Phylogeneticsanalysis
- Protein modeling
- High-through put Virtual Screening
- Protein-ligand Interactions Analysis
- Molecular Dynamics Simulation
The workshop will include a series of lectures and Hands on training sessions on different aspects of Bioinformatics.
This workshop is designed for attendees of Life Sciences background, with fundamental knowledge of Biochemistry, Chemistry, Molecular Biology and Computer. Faculty members, BS/ MS/ MPhil/ PhD studentscan participate in this workshop.
