PEEF Scholarship Notice for Master Students 2023-24

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria to apply for the Scholarship.
• Having Punjab Domicile
• All those students who were admitted in Fall 2023 and Winter 2023 can apply
• Have secured at least 60% marks or a minimum CGPA of 2.5 in the BS (Hons) program examination held in 2023 / 2022 / 2021 in Punjab
• Have declared monthly income of their parents (from all sources) is less than Rs. 60,000/-
• Have a minimum CGPA of 3.00

HEC Need Based Scholarship for Undergraduate Students 2023-24

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the Scholarship Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Be enrolled as a student for the current academic semester (Fall 2023)
Have at least a CGPA of 2.50.
Have financial need as verified by the Scholarship Award Committee.
First-semester students are also eligible to apply.

The scholarship Application Form with all required documents must be submitted to the Registrar’s Office by February 12, 2024.

Dr. Tehseen Aman Scholarship

The family of Dr. Tehseen Aman is offering a scholarship for the M.Phil. Biochemistry and M.Phil. Environmental Sciences students. It is both a MERIT and NEED-BASED scholarship. Dr. Tehseen Aman (2nd Nov 1943 – 31st August 2021) was a world-renowned scientist, specializing in Chemistry. Her name appeared in the Marquis Who’s Who in the World in 1997, a book that contains biographical information on notable people of the world. For her research in the field of Chemistry, she was awarded a gold medal by the Pakistan Academy of Sciences (2002). Read more about her by clicking here
Scholarship Overview /Terms and Conditions
• The Scholarship is both “Merit and Need Based” and will be offered to those who wish to pursue an MPhil degree in
i. Environmental Sciences or ii. Biochemistry
• The student will be funded for the 2 years of the study program and will cover the tuition fee (up to PKR 200,000 of one M.Phil student every year.
• To continue the scholarship, the student must maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.00/4.00.
• If the student is unable to get this CGPA in her first semester, her scholarship will be on hold for the next semester and will only be released if she gets the required CGPA in her second semester. The scholarship will be withdrawn if she fails to get the 3.00 CGPA in her 2nd semester.
• The scholarship application form will be available from the Dean Postgraduate office. Applicants are required to submit hard copies of the application form along with the supporting documents to the Dean of Postgraduate Programs by the given deadline.
• Shortlisted applicants will be interviewed by the Committee constituted by the Institution The decision of the Committee shall be final and cannot be challenged.
• The scholarship will not cover any financial assistance for any extended period of the academic program (such as fee for repeating/ improving course/semester freeze or/and delay in Research thesis submission etc.)
• Students availing any other scholarship/ financial assistance are not eligible for this scholarship.

• Have proven financial need

KINNAIRD COLLEGE ASSOCIATES USA scholarship for Undergraduate Program

Endowed by the Kinnaird College Alumni Association from New York/New Jersey USA for one undergraduate student for the entire course of 4 years.
The scholarship will be renewed every year based on the educational progress of the student.

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Be enrolled as a student for the current academic year;
Have at least a 3.00 CGPA
Have financial need as verified by the financial aid department;

Sister2Sister Exchange Program 2023

Society for International Education announces the opening of applications for the Sister2SisterExchange Program 2023. Interested and eligible college and university females are invited to complete the application available at:

Sister2Sister Exchange Program

The application deadline is October 31st, 2022

Sister2Sister Exchange Program offers eligible females between the ages of 18-24 years an opportunity to attend undergraduate summer courses at prestigious American universities. The Sister2Sister Exchange Program is funded by the U.S. Department of State. The program is led by American University, and administered by a consortium of partners, including American University, iEARN-USA and Society for International Education.

Application and Selection Process for Sister2Sister Exchange Program 2023

Eligible students can fill out the application from the above-mentioned link. The application must be submitted with all the required documents. The application can only be submitted online. There is no paper application. Please do not send/courier the printed application or original/additional documents to our office. We do not return any document submitted.

After the initial application process, shortlisted candidates will be interviewed virtually. The shortlisted candidates will then enter the next stage of the selection process, which would include in-person group discussions and individual interviews. Following the interview process, the profiles of the shortlisted candidates will be sent to the American University for the final evaluation and selection and matching of selected students with the respective university programs. Each university will make the ultimate decision as to the applicant’s candidacy. The students selected as the Sister2Sister Exchange Program finalists will be notified by a letter.

Finalists will be enrolled in a compulsory Pre-Departure Orientation Program prior to their travel to the U.S

Mona and Fizza Batch 88 Sports Scholarship Kinnaird College for Women

Endowed by the Kinnaird College Alumni Graduating Class of 1988 in recognition of Ms Mona and Ms Fizza who represented Kinnaird in multiple Sports events during their tenure in the college. Both of them passed away while saving a drowning child. In recognition of their bravery and sports achievements this scholarship has been initiated, for one student either Intermediate or Undergraduate for the entire course of her studies.
Scholarship will be renewed every year on the basis of educational progress of the student.

Have at least 50% marks.
High achiever in any sports.
Have financial need as verified by the financial aid department.

PEEF SCHOLARSHIP NOTICE FOR M.PHIL STUDENTS 2021-22

It is to inform you that PEEF is offering Master Level Scholarship for MS / M.Phil students. All those students who were admitted in Fall 2021 / Spring 2022 and secured at least 60% marks or a minimum CGPA of 2.5 in examination held in 2021 / 2020 / 2019 in Punjab and declared monthly income of their parents (from all sources) is less than Rs. 37,000/- are eligible to apply. All interested students are required to submit Scholarship Application Form along with all required documents in Registrar Office by April 07, 2022. Vilma Nathaniel Clarke Scholarship

The Clarke Education Foundation, in partnership with Kinnaird College, Lahore, Pakistan, announces the establishment of the Vilma Nathaniel Clarke scholarship which will provide a female graduate student with funds toward the payment of tuition for the course of their M.Phil studies (two years). Selection is based on high academic achievement, financial need, leadership potential and demonstrated seriousness of purpose.

The Scholarship is available to those who have gained entry into Kinnaird College, Pakistan and who wish to pursue, or are currently pursuing an:

M.Phil degree in environmental sciences, or
M.Phil degree in international relations, or in exceptional circumstances a related field, or
In addition, those who have completed an undergraduate degree in geography and are enrolled in an M.Phil programme at Kinnaird College, Pakistan.
The scholarship is awarded on an annual basis and in the first instance, the Foundation expects to award a partial scholarship. The Foundation has the right to annul the funding without assigning any specific reason. Selection will be based on an application as well as a panel interview to be conducted by two members of the Foundation and one staff member nominated by Kinnaird College.
Candidates are requested to submit:

A completed copy of application form

Most recent academic results, full transcripts and any other material they deem of use to committee members;
Up to two letters of reference from qualified referees that address the candidates’ academic achievement, academic potential, financial need, leadership potential and seriousness of purpose
Any background information that can help to demonstrate financial need, including, inter alia a Statement from Employer, Salary statement, Bank statement, Recent Utility bills, property ownership documents (copies) and rent or Mortgage Agreement of parents and student.
A passport size photograph which can be attached to the form.
NOTE: Completed applications should be submitted in hard copy to the Admission Office.

Scotland Pakistan Scholarship Scheme for Young Women and Girls 2020-21

The Scotland Pakistan Scholarship caters to women from financially disadvantaged backgrounds pursuing higher education and helps them achieve their educational ambitions and so far has supported over 900 students.

These scholarships are offered to female students enrolled in master’s and bachelor’s programmes. They are being offered in the fields of education, agriculture and food security, sustainable energy, health sciences, and STEM engineering (STEM is only applicable at Master’s level), all areas of critical importance to Pakistan.

Administered directly by the British Council, this scholarship will facilitate award-holders with the following incentives:

1. Tuition fees for bachelor’s or master’s courses in eligible fields

2. University hostel costs (where applicable)

3. Travel to and from home to university two times a year for students staying in on-campus hostels
